Butterfly.
Her white body symbolizes the purity attributed to the metamorphic butterfly by its rebirths. As the butterfly escapes from the chrysalis and the butterfly is the soul leaving a body, so the butterfly shapes are carved out of the sculpture

Nature.
Mother Nature releases a butterfly from its cocoon. Her humanity characterised by her part human form clad in leaves. This is on display at Pili Palas until September when the house planting will be changed.
